Flange gaskets

Thanks to our cutting technology, experience and know-how, we can cut gaskets from virtually any material. Our cutting machine enables us to offer high-quality products at competitive prices, regardless of size and quantity. Custom gaskets are produced on our oscillating-knife cutting machine based on the customer's drawing/specification or a supplied sample, and the required gasket can also be produced directly from an AutoCAD file.

Our standard gaskets are manufactured to EN 1514 / ANSI ASME B16.21 / JIS standards.

Graphite gaskets are ideal for extreme environments, including high and low temperatures. They can seal in degreasing media and can be used where lubrication is not possible. They offer excellent chemical resistance and are resistant to acids and corrosive substances.

Our range includes all graphite gasket sheets manufactured by KLINGER Egliswill AG and the flange gaskets made from them.

The basic properties of PTFE offer a unique combination of:

• low coefficient of friction
• excellent chemical resistance
• non-stick surface
• wide temperature range (–200 °C to +230 °C)
• excellent dielectric properties.

PTFE is practically inert to all chemicals at high temperature and pressure, with the exception of a few substances such as certain alkali metals, chlorine trifluoride and elemental fluorine.

The KLINGER® Top-Chem product family is a universal heavy-duty gasket that delivers exceptional performance under high mechanical demands at high temperatures. It offers excellent resistance in strongly acidic and alkaline applications, as well as to steam and oxygen. It is suitable for an extremely wide range of applications in the chemical and petrochemical industries, and in shipbuilding for the transport of chemicals. Its base material is PTFE, filled with specific quantities of fillers (SiC, hollow glass microspheres, barium sulphate, etc.).

Rubber flange gaskets can be used for minimal loads (temperature and pressure), for vibration damping, for walkways and conveyor belts, and for electrical insulation.

Mica-based gasket sheet with perforated 0.1 mm stainless steel reinforcement, material 1.4401 (AISI 316).
A distinctive feature of KLINGER® milam PSS is its outstanding thermal stability: at 800 °C, the material loses less than 5% of its mass. In addition to its thermal stability, it also offers excellent chemical resistance to solvents, aggressive acids, alkalis and mineral oils.

GORE® gaskets are among the best-sealing and most chemically resistant gaskets available. GORE® gaskets have also proven themselves with users who must comply with environmental and safety requirements, or who work with aggressive or toxic substances.

GORE® gaskets are made of 100% expanded PTFE and are resistant to all media with a pH of 0–14, except molten or dissolved alkali metals and elemental fluorine at higher temperatures and pressures. The gaskets are heat-resistant from -269 to +230 °C and can therefore be used under extreme temperature conditions.
